NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department was on the scene of a SWAT Roll in a New Orleans East neighborhood.
According to the NOPD, around 10:55 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to the 7700 block of Newcastle Street in reference to a woman being assaulted by a man in the home.

A SWAT Roll was called at 4:18 a.m. Wednesday and when officers arrived they said the subject allegedly refused to leave the home and barricaded himself inside.
