X Games leaders leave behind a big gift for New Orleans’ community-run skate park

A piece of the X Games will remain at a local skate park after the extreme sports event made its New Orleans debut two weeks ago.

After drawing in crowds and nearly 100 of the world’s top action athletes at the first-ever league championship, event organizers donated one of the professional ramps used at the contest to Parisite , the community-run concrete roller park at Paris Avenue.

The ramp now sits under the Highway 610 overpass for New Orleans shredders of all ages to hone their craft…
