NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — It’s been more than 13 years since 16-year-old Ke’Shawn Bell was murder in the Pontchartrain Park neighborhood of New Orleans. Now, the victim’s mother is doubling the reward, hoping to find her son’s killer. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

The crime happened a little before 6:00 p.m. on March 21, 2013. Police found Bell’s body near the train tracks by the corner of Prentiss Street and Providence Place. He’d been shot to death.
WGNO’s Wheel of Justice report has focused on the case previously. But now, we’re making another appeal for tips after the victim’s mother, Ikesha Bell, provided the money to double the reward to now $10k.
Police say that Ke’Shawn Bell was playing basketball earlier that day and was seen leaving the area with two people, but that information did not result in any arrests.
