The New Orleans Saints offseason has gotten off to a roaring start. They have a new (targeted) offensive coordinator in Klint Kubiak. They have started to chip away at their salary cap deficit. One of their most beloved players of the last decade went on a social media rant regarding the team and its quarterback.
During the NFC Championship, Michael Thomas gave his thoughts on his injury from this season and the direction of the Saints franchise. It went a bit viral.

Recently, Saints QB Derek Carr responded to the tweets from Thomas and gave his point of view. He was respectful, but honest, in his reaction.
“I probably didn’t throw the best ball. If that’s how he wants to view it and see it, completely fine by me. I also understand that when I came in the building we had Chris Olave, who they were trying to train to be the No. 1 guy. So all of a sudden, every rep in practice is Chris first. As a superstar that Mike is, I can understand you’re dealing with all the injury noise, you’re dealing with Chris becoming the guy – and he loves Chris, but I can understand where the frustration starts to build.”
