Tedeschi Trucks Band Reunites Allman Brothers Members, Welcomes Teddy Swims & George Porter Jr. At Jazz Fest

Tedeschi Trucks Band closed out the Shell Gentilly Stage on Sunday, the eighth and final day of the 2026 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The 12-piece ensemble got into the collaborative spirit of Jazz Fest by bringing out Warren Haynes, Teddy Swims, George Porter Jr., Jaimoe and Marc Quinones during the Fairgrounds set.

“Let The Good Times Roll” was selected by TTB to open. The group then looked to their recently released Future Soul album for “Crazy Cryin’” and “Who Am I.” Following “Get What You Deserve,” Teddy Swims emerged to guide a cover of Traffic’s “Feelin’ Alright?” Swims had previously performed the Dave Mason-penned tune with TTB at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in honor of Joe Cocker, who scored a hit with his version of the song.

The middle of the set saw Tedeschi Trucks Band roll through “Future Soul,” CSNY’s “Ohio,” “Let Me Get By” and the Susan Tedeschi solo offering “Just Won’t Burn.” Legendary bassist George Porter Jr. then represented his home city on a medley of “You Can Make It If You Try” and “Everyday People” by Sly & The Family Stone…
