NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — After performances by the Eagles, Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart and more, Jazz Fest organizers say around 475,000 fans took part in the events.
According to Jazz Fest organizers, over 600 bands appeared on the festival’s 14 stages over two weekends, featuring blues, gospel, rock, R&B, traditional and contemporary jazz, Cajun and zydeco, brass band, Mardi Gras Indian music and more. The food fair also offered over 100 dishes of Louisiana cuisine.

The festival also celebrated Jamaica and its culture at the Sandals Resorts Jamaica Cultural Exchange Pavillion, and on stages throughout the festival. They featured musicians such as Ziggy Marley, Stephan Marley, Lutan Fyah and more.
