NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Former New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and her former bodyguard, Jeffery Vappie appeared in federal court Tuesday, May 19.
The two are making a push to ensure sure certain pieces of evidence are withheld from their cases.

Federal prosecutors accused Cantrell of misusing campaign funds for personal expenses like trips, clothes and alcohol.
