HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton Police are investigating a homicide on Newmarket Square Sunday morning, according to the Hampton Police Division.
At around 1:45 a.m., Hampton Public Safety Communications received a call about a shooting in the 100 block of Newmarket Square. When officers arrived to the scene, they found a man with gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced deceased.
As officers were investigating the shooting, they were notified about a second man with a gunshot wound.
