VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Virginia Beach woman was sentenced Tuesday to 17 years in prison in connection with the shooting death of her 90-year-old father.
Jennifer Mulligan pleaded guilty in April to second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the death of Woodard McClure. Police say Mulligan shot and killed him in his bedroom on May 7, 2025.
