Downtown Oakland Parking Lot Turns Deadly In 2:46 A.M. Shooting

An early morning shooting turned a downtown Oakland parking lot into a crime scene yesterday, leaving a 33-year-old San Leandro man dead, according to police. Officers responding to the 1400 block of Harrison Street found the man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Mercury News reported that the shooting occurred at about 2:46 AM on the 1400 block of Harrison Street and that homicide investigators identified the victim as a 33-year-old San Leandro resident.
