SF Pokémon robbery suspects arrested

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two teens accused of violently robbing a man of his Pokémon cards in a San Francisco park last month have been arrested. According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded to the area of Holyoke and Felton streets on May 28 at around 3:16 p.m.

Arriving at the scene, officers learned the victim had arranged to meet someone they met online to sell a collection of Pokémon cards. While at the park waiting to meet the buyer, the suspect approached them.

The suspect, according to police, examined the cards, pretended to pay the victim, and then pepper-sprayed him. The suspect then fled with the cards toward a vehicle with two additional suspects inside.

The victim, who received non-life-threatening injuries, was medically assessed by paramedics at the scene…
