City officials unveiled a completely rebuilt home for an Ocala family that was made possible through the Community Housing Services Housing Rehabilitation Program, allowing the homeowners to execute a five-year, deferred mortgage loan equal to the total cost of construction.
David and Carolyn Woodbury saw their new home for the first time during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 24.
The project was completed through the city’s Community Housing Services Housing Rehabilitation Program as a complete demolition and rebuild.
Located at 826 NW 6th Avenue in the West Ocala Community Redevelopment Area (CRA), the home was originally evaluated in April 2022 and determined to be deteriorating and eligible for assistance…
