A fatal crash at an intersection in southwest Ocala early Monday morning had traffic blocked for several hours.
According to dispatch logs from the Florida Highway Patrol, emergency personnel responded to the crash at the intersection of SW 140th Avenue and SW 20th Place shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28.
The collision resulted in at least one confirmed fatality and prompted authorities to establish roadblocks in the immediate area while emergency crews responded and investigators worked at the scene.
