A property owner is hoping to demolish an old bank building to build a new gas station and convenience store in northeast Ocala, right next to a hotbed of residential and commercial development.
The major site plan and associated waiver requests for Sunstop #360 Ocala will be presented to the Marion County Development Review Committee during its regular meeting on Monday, Sept. 28.
If recommended by the committee, the development proposal will still need to go before the Marion County Planning and Zoning Commission and the Marion County Board of County Commissioners before plans are finalized…
