Oklahoma County jail could be transformed into film campus, OKC proposal says
OKLAHOMA CITY – A development draft plan from Oklahoma City aimed at transforming Downtown and Bricktown is proposing using the site of the current Oklahoma County Detention Center for a new film campus.
The proposal is part of the city’s plan to expand education and job opportunities, specifically to “support a film-based economy and ecosystem in Downtown”.
