Million-dollar OKC homes burglarized, possibly connected to Chilean crime ring

OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Okla. ( KFOR ) – Police requested warrants last week after burglaries in Oklahoma City that are possibly connected to a Chilean crime ring spanning several states.

The burglaries happened at several million-dollar homes while victims were not home at the time, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department.

“This was a very sophisticated burglary; they got in without being detected at all,” said OKCPD spokesperson Gary Knight.

According to an affidavit, the original report came from a home near Hefner and Air Depot Road within OKC city limits on November 17.

It stated that the family left at night, and when they returned, they found their backdoor busted in and their safe missing.

Officials said that security video showed two unknown men enter the house, retrieve the safe, load the safe into a vehicle, and then drive off.
