MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — Authorities say a convicted felon has been sentenced to prison for possessing a firearm.
Jarmelle Dante Carter, 38, has been sentenced to nine years in federal prison for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition after previously being convicted of a felony for his role in a drug conspiracy.
According to public records, Midwest City Police executed a search warrant for two addresses associated with Carter in May and located two 12-gauge shotguns, ammunition, a large amount of currency, and controlled substances, including cocaine and marijuana…
