Habitual traffic offender with revoked license stopped on Historic Side of The Villages

An Apopka woman was arrested for driving with a revoked license near a gas station in The Villages.

An officer stopped a white Nissan for speeding near the 7-Eleven on the Historic Side of The Villages around 6:50 a.m. Friday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The driver, 27-year-old Taprasha Nigeria Parker, stated she would be going to jail due to not having a license and prior traffic issues.

A check of Parker’s driving history revealed her license was revoked for three guilty verdicts for driving with a suspended license on July 17, 2024, April 24, 2024, and Feb. 22, 2023. On Aug. 14, 2024, her license was revoked, and she was labeled a habitual traffic offender for five years, the report said.

Parker was arrested on charge of driving while license revoked (habitual offender). She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,500 bond…
