Your cars are safe driving down Park Avenue by the cemetery, for now.
The City of Winter Park has temporarily closed its historic nine-hole Winter Park Golf Course, better known as WP9, after an “inadvertent chemical application” damaged the course’s greens, according to Mayor Sheila DeCiccio’s latest city update.
The course closed Monday, April 27, and is expected to reopen Monday, May 18, with temporary greens in place while repairs continue. A full reopening is expected later this summer.…
