If you’re on the lookout for a restaurant that offers good food and great views, look no further than a popular beach spot that was recently recognized for offering up both.
Tasting Table released its list of the “hands-down best restaurant with a view in every state” this week, and The Gulf, a popular Orange Beach spot that’s become known for its waterside location claimed the title for Alabama.
“Whether situated in city centers near famous landmarks, right on the water in a popular beach town, or far up on a mountaintop, these establishments benefit from a steady stream of customers no matter what kind of food they serve,” wrote Tasting Table, of the list. “This, alas, gives them less of an incentive to serve high quality meals or insist on top notch service. Which is why we have put together a list of restaurants with gorgeous views that serve actual good food and provide good service.”
The Gulf, which has become popular among locals and tourists alike since first opening in 2012, offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with scenic views of the Perdido Pass as well as a diverse menu ranging from lobster rolls and shrimp tacos to sweet fire ribs, chicken tenders and its signature grouper sandwich.
