SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. — A 54-year-old Pace woman was sentenced to 60 years in prison on Wednesday for trying to hire someone to kill her husband.
Stephanie Perdue was convicted in July of these charges:
- conspiracy to commit first-degree premeditated murder (two counts)
- solicitation to commit first-degree murder (two counts)
Perdue was first arrested in April 2022 for shooting her husband in the throat at Little Man’s Paint & Body on Myrtle Road. He survived the shooting. Perdue was charged with aggravated battery and released on $100,000 bond.
