The Cheltenham Township Police Department announced that officers and EMS were dispatched to the 200 block of Macdonald Ave in Wyncote around 6:23pm today for a report of a shooting.
Police said one victim sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a nearby trauma center for treatment. The shooting was potentially domestic-related, according to the report.
“A suspect was taken into custody at the scene and there is no danger to the public. At this time, this case remains under investigation by Cheltenham Detectives,” police said. “Further details will be released pending the outcome of the investigation.”…
