After being featured in the Netflix anthology series Worst Roommate Ever, the story of Elkins Park serial squatter Jamison Bachman will now be turned into a movie, writes Raymond Ragland for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Paul Feig, the director-producer behind hits like Bridesmaids and A Simple Favor, is planning to bring the true story to big screens with the production company Blumhouse, which produces the Netflix series.
The untitled project will center on Chestnut Hill resident Alex Miller and her real-life horror story of living with Bachman, who she knew under his fake name Jed Creek. Miller sublet her open room to Bachman, who introduced himself as a New York City lawyer who grew up in the Philadelphia region…
