Broward County Public Schools earns top district grade for third straight year as more schools reach highest performance level

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Broward County Public Schools has once again earned the highest possible district rating from the Florida Department of Education, continuing a strong streak of academic achievement across the school system.

Earlier this week, on July 1, 2026, the Florida Department of Education released district and school grades for the 2025-26 school year. Broward County Public Schools received an “A” district grade for the third consecutive year, reflecting continued improvement in student achievement and school performance.

The newly released results also showed strong progress at individual campuses throughout the district.

More schools earn top grades across the district

According to the district, 129 Broward County Public Schools campuses received an “A” grade during the 2025-26 school year. Another 56 schools earned “B” grades, while 27 schools received “C” grades…
