STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A man riding a bicycle was killed after being struck by a Brightline train late Tuesday morning in Stuart, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
Firefighters with Martin County Fire Rescue said the crash happened around 11 a.m. near the intersection of Southeast Monterey Road and Southeast Dixie Highway.
Authorities have not released the identity of the victim, but confirmed the bicyclist was an adult man.
