FORT PIERCE — The Humane Society of St. Lucie County (HSSLC) partnered with Sunrise Ford this past Saturday, July 25, for the Commitment to Kids community event, bringing adoptable pets and family fun together for a day of giving back.
Commitment to Kids was a free event that offered families an afternoon filled with hot dogs, hamburgers, Kona Ice, school supplies for the first 150 children, and the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs and cats from HSSLC.
The Fort Pierce Police and Fire Departments joined in the festivities alongside face painting, back to school haircuts, and an interactive art tent where children could paint a car, creating a memorable celebration before the start of the new school year…
