PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) – Portland Parks & Recreation has temporarily closed The Fields Park due to the nearby Centennial Mills building that was recently damaged by a four-alarm fire.
The closure is out of an abundance of caution, according to PP&R. The park, located at 1099 Northwest Overton Street, will be closed until experts can determine that the area if safe from debris and other hazards following the Aug. 2 fire.
