Portland Police Seize 13 Pounds of Meth, Nearly 3 Pounds of Fentanyl in Three Operations

Portland police seized large quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine and arrested two people during three drug investigations conducted over two days, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Detectives with PPB’s Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit began the enforcement activity Tuesday, Aug. 4, with an interdiction operation in Troutdale. Investigators reported seizing 13 pounds of methamphetamine and identifying several people believed to have connections to multistate drug trafficking organizations.

No arrests were announced in connection with the Troutdale operation, and police said the investigation remains active…
