Nonprofit behavioral health and social services organization Volunteers of America Oregon plans to sell three of its transitional housing properties and reinvest the money in its planned 6.5-acre Health and Family Services Campus in Northeast Portland. The campus will include 100 residential treatment beds, outpatient services, recovery housing and more.
The Multnomah County Board of Commissioners on Thursday approved a resolution terminating the low-income housing development agreement for 722, 732 and 736 N.E. Couch St. The county had transferred the properties to VOA Oregon in 2015 with a 60-year agreement.
