Woman sentenced for role in shooting, killing man found dead in Hillsboro wetlands

HILLSBORO Ore. (KPTV) – A woman was sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty to her role in a 2020 murder in Hillsboro, the Washington County District Attorney’s Office announced on Friday.

According to the DA’s office, Viviana Lucinda Vallejo pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter on Oct. 4 in connection to the death of Alexis Vega-Cruz.
