Man facing kidnapping charges after threatening TriMet driver with knife on moving bus

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A harrowing experience aboard a TriMet bus in Northeast Portland thankfully ended without injuries, and the suspect is in custody, KATU has learned.

According to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, transit police responded Wednesday night around 7:45 p.m. to a report of a person armed with a knife threatening a bus operator.
