One person is dead after crashing their explosives-laden car into the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday morning, the police said.
The vehicle caught fire after crashing into the building, according to the Portland Police. Explosive devices were subsequently found in the vehicle, along with the deceased individual — who was later identified as a disgruntled former employee of the club.
Investigators told The Oregonian that they believe the former employee — who has not been named — rented a black Nissan Rogue on Friday, which he then used to drive into the building, careening around the first floor before setting off the explosive devices, which included a mix of propane tanks and pipe bombs…
