PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One day after someone drove an SUV full of explosives into the Multnomah Athletic Club in Southwest Portland and died, more details are emerging about the possible driver.
However, a law enforcement source close to the investigation told KOIN 6 News, on condition of anonymity, that the driver is believed to be Bruce Whitman.

According to the source, Whitman had two Red Flag orders filed with the courts, one in 2022 and one earlier this year, for allegedly harassing MAC members on multiple occasions and threatening physical harm to some. The documents also allege that Whitman believed people at the MAC were conspiring against him.
