Portland ‘Grinch’ burglar sentenced to over 10 years in prison for Christmas theft spree

Allen Sverre Easley, 39, nicknamed the “Grinch,” was sentenced on Wednesday, May 6, to 10 years and eight months in prison following multiple burglary, firearm and contraband convictions, including stealing more than $1,000 in wrapped Christmas presents.

The sentence stems from three separate criminal cases involving residential burglaries, firearm offenses and supplying contraband, according to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.
