Seekonk man accused of killing Cranston man appears in court for bail hearing

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — The Seekonk man accused of shooting and killing a Cranston man earlier this year appeared in court Wednesday for a bail hearing.

Demitri Sousa, 28, has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, using a firearm while committing a crime of violence and carrying a pistol without a license in connection with the death of 35-year-old Javon Lawson.
