RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – On the evening of Wednesday, July 22, the Regional Gang Unit conducted a proactive enforcement operation in downtown Reno targeting suspected gang activity.
The operation resulted in the arrest of five gang members and associates, the recovery of a concealed 9mm handgun with an extended magazine, and the safe recovery of a reported runaway juvenile, according to a Thursday, July 23, Reno Police Department Facebook post.
