A fire broke out inside a unit at the Cares Campus apartment complex, leaving one person hospitalized, local fire officials said.
The fire was reported inside a single unit of the 51-unit residential facility and was contained to a single room. According to firefighters, the building’s automatic sprinkler system had already extinguished the flames before crews arrived on scene.
