CARITAS shows renovated campus in South Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — CARITAS is celebrating a major milestone after completing nearly $3.7 million in renovations at its South Richmond campus.

The nonprofit, which has served the region for almost 40 years, provides addiction recovery services and emergency shelter for men experiencing homelessness.

“It’s been a three-year endeavor,” said President and CEO Karen O’Brien. “One of the things I’m most proud of is that we have stayed open the whole time. We never closed the doors. We have been housing men who are struggling with addiction and housing.”…
