HOPWELL, Va. (WWBT) – Jonathan Exum, 41, was found unresponsive at FCI Petersburg Medium on June 27, 2026, according to a press release from the U.S Department of Justice.
Workers at the jail tried life-saving techniques while waiting for EMS to arrive, but Exum was taken to the hospital, and he was pronounced dead.
No other employees or inmates were injured…
