RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A Richmond mother is facing murder charges after her 17-month-old twin boys drowned in a bathtub in mid-April.
At about 8:39 p.m. on Friday, April 17, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 1000 block of German School Road for report of two young children who had been hurt.
When they arrived, the officers found two 17-month-old twin boys in a bathtub with “apparent drowning injuries.” Both toddlers were taken to a local hospital, where they both tragically died — one the same night and the other days later…
