BEDFORD, Va. (WDBJ) – The National D-Day Memorial is expected to host a few events on Saturday, April 25 for free, officials announced.

- Annual Family Day
- 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- 3 Overlord Cir, Bedford, VA 24523
- An opportunity where kids and adults together can check out life at home and on the front lines during World War II. It’ll feature educational displays, demos, living historians, children’s acitivities, and special tours.
- Performance by the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets’ precision drill team, known as the Gregory Guard.
- 10:45 a.m.
- Gray Plaza
- Blood drive
- 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- An onsite bloodmobile will be present for those wanting to participate in the blood drive.
- The Blood Connection, a nonprofit blood provider via Carilion Clinic, will donate $10 for each donation collected to the Memorial.
