ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The first Rochester Comedy Festival will be held at Comedy at the Carlson on Sunday evening. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit the Greater Rochester Cancer Alliance which helps support local organizations that provide services for people and their families facing cancer.
“When we began planning, our goal was to showcase national headliners, rising stars, local comedians, storytellers, podcasts, improv, and special events all in one unforgettable weekend,” organizers said. “But what truly excited us was realizing the festival could be about more than just great comedy. It could be an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.”
