Bright Spot: WWII veteran celebrates 105 years

Brighton, N.Y. (WHAM) — Our Bright Spot shines on a Rochester native and World War II veteran celebrating a remarkable milestone: his 105th birthday.

Jim Ingutti celebrated the occasion Monday surrounded by family and friends, along with a special performance from entertainer Mrs. Kasha Davis.

Ingutti was born and raised in Rochester and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He later worked several jobs in the area, including at Graflex, the West Irondequoit Central School District and Savoia’s Bakery…
