Rochester Police make 2 separate gun arrests Wednesday night into Thursday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say they made two gun arrests and recovered a ghost gun and pistol in two separate cases Wednesday night into Thursday.

First arrest on Reynolds Street

The first arrest happened at around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday. Police say they responded to Reynolds Street for a report of a menacing with a handgun.

Officers found the suspect, 29-year-old Christopher Singleton, in the passenger seat of a car. Investigators say they then found a ghost gun loaded with ten rounds.

Singleton was taken into custody and brought to the Monroe County Jail. He is charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second and third degrees.

Second arrest on Bay Street

Later on at around 12:45 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to Bay Street for a report of a stolen car. When officers got there, they found a 2017 Kia previously reported stolen…
