Man found guilty of local musician’s murder on Olean St.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man was found guilty Tuesday in the murder of local Rochester musician James Hallenbeck.

Rahjule Keeton, 21, was found guilty of second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and second-degree robbery, according to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.

On Aug. 21, 2022, Rochester police responded to Olean Street near Coretta Scott Crossing around 1:45 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Hallenbeck, 29, was found dead with a gunshot wound and blunt force trauma after a robbery…
