ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Genesee Country Village & Museum is celebrating 50 years of bringing history to life in Mumford.
The living history museum marked its anniversary Friday with a day of tours, games, food, drinks, a new exhibit and other activities throughout the historic village.
The museum gives guests a chance to step into the past, with historic buildings and costumed interpreters showcasing life in the 1800s. Friday’s celebration also served as the first event in a series of extended evening hours planned at the museum this season…
