Gun-wielding driver arrested in Rockford road rage case, drugs found at home

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — An investigation into a road rage incident led Rockford Police to the door of a suspected drug dealer.

According to investigators, on May 26, at 10:04 pm., officers were called to the 1000 block of E. State Street, where they met with a trio of victims who reported they had been threatened by a driver with a gun.

The incident, which had occurred earlier that evening near the intersection of Charles and 22nd Street, involved a driver approaching “aggressively close” to the back of their vehicle, and eventually driving up alongside them and pointing a gun at them, the victims reported…
