A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on westbound Highway 50 in Sacramento on Tuesday evening, marking the third fatal incident on the highway in the area in one day.
The California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento office said the pedestrian was struck on westbound Highway 50 west of the 10th Street off-ramp near downtown.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene and has only been identified only as an adult male. The CHP said it was also unclear whether the vehicle that initially struck the pedestrian remained at the scene…
