Bank teller charged with sharing customer data in $28K identity theft scheme

CLAYTON, Mo. – A Ferguson woman will appear in court next month for allegedly sharing customers’ banking information with an accomplice who used that information to steal money from bank accounts.

According to a St. Louis County Police Department probable cause statement, Deshauna P. Lorick worked as a teller at Royal Banks, located at 13171 Olive Boulevard.

Between July 14 and August 16, 2023, police said Lorick took screenshots of checks being deposited by 13 customers and sent them to an accomplice in exchange for payments through Cash App…
