ST. LOUIS – It has been a painful week for Steve Ewing, owner of Steve’s Hot Dogs.
First, his South Grand restaurant was targeted twice by a vandal who shattered multiple windows. Now, Ewing says his family is mourning the loss of their beloved dog after a violent attack in Tower Grove Park.
According to St. Louis police, officers were first called to Steve’s Hot Dogs around 3:15 a.m. Monday after a man threw a large rock through a window. Around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Ewing reported the suspect returned and used a piece of concrete to smash several front windows before running away…
